Autism Spectrum Disorder

Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) is a group of complex neuro-developmental disorders affecting communication, socialization, thought, and behaviour, and includes individuals with a wide range of functional abilities.


ADHD

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a condition that causes unusual levels of hyperactivity and impulsive behaviour. People with ADHD may also have trouble focusing their attention on a single task or sitting still for long periods.


Developmental Delays

Developmental Delays refer to a child who has not gained the developmental skills expected of him or her, compared to others of the same age. Delays may occur in the areas of motor function, speech and language, cognitive, play, and social skills.


Slow Learners

A child can be described as a Slow Learner if his or her thinking skills develop at a notably slower rate than that of his or her peers. The child will progress through the same developmental stages as peers but at a slower rate and typically has below-average intelligence.


Down Syndrome

Down Syndrome is a genetic disorder caused by abnormal cell division resulting in an extra full or partial copy of a chromosome. This extra genetic material causes the developmental changes and physical features of Down Syndrome, leading to varying degrees of intellectual disability and developmental delays.
